Roof tops always appeal and attract new customers. With captivating views, varied locations and different decorations from each other, they are becoming more and more popular places. A roof top is a roof fitted out either as a terrace, a restaurant or even a bar. It offers a 360° view of where you are.
Something new in the community
In Hyères, a brand new roof top has just opened in the station district, the Do’Rémi. “I came to knock on the door of the Ibis and offered them a challenge, to work up there. On the principle of a concession, I have this roof top for the duration of the summer”. Rémi Bagarry, the manager, had a restaurant in the street next to the Ibis hotel, for more than 5 years. For the one who worked alone, things have changed a lot. To date, he leads a small team of employees.
The Do’Rémi offers a rooftop with an average of 100 covers. Rémi’s terrace offers a breathtaking view of the station as well as Hyères and its many hills. It is a place with a more family spirit. Do’Rémi is open every day from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is located on the roof of the Ibis hotel, opposite the train station.
Roof tops in different styles
Do’Rémi is not the only roof top in Hyères. La Reine Jane, restaurant and hotel in L’Ayguade, has also had a terrace on its roof for nearly five years. In this cocktail bar, friends can meet for a drink and enjoy the panoramic view of the three islands. Every Thursday, customers will benefit from the arrival of a DJ, who mixes only on vinyl.
“Here, the spirit is cool, with slow music. We hardly have a high table, so that everyone can be quiet”. The Queen Jane roof top only offers drinks. It is open from 7 p.m. to midnight, 7 days a week and only in summer.
With roof tops offering different frames and maps, everyone can find what they are looking for.
