A pharmacist hears a noise in her attic and discovers with amazement a cat and her 3 newborns

Intrigued by a suspicious noise coming from their attic, Ann and her husband were far from suspecting that it was a litter of kittens born only a few days earlier. Their mother had carefully hidden them there, but could no longer reach them. An association intervened quickly to rescue them.

Ann Mason is a 61-year-old pharmacist who works and lives in Liskeardcity of Cornwall in the South West of England. Her and her husband Tyler had a huge surprise when they discovered 3 newborn kittens in their attic. A story reported by the local media Cornish Times.

A few days earlier, the 60-year-old had noticed a pregnant tortoiseshell cat wandering around her neighborhood, but she hadn’t thought of it again. She didn’t expect this same animal to start a family right over her head.

Afterwards, Tyler heard noise coming from under the roof of their house, which had recently been damaged after the storm had passed Eunice. Initially, the couple thought their 2 dogs had snuck in there, but that was not the case.

While they were still wondering what was going on, a woman rang their doorbell. She was holding the pussy spotted by Ann Mason in her arms, but the latter no longer had her big belly. The lady explained to them that she had followed the feline to their home to try to understand what was bothering her.

It’s there that Tyler and his wife were able to realize that the unfortunate cat had given birth in the attic and that she could no longer join her offspring. The kittens had to be rescued as soon as possible because they needed her, but the couple did not know how to proceed. Anne and Tyler called the veterinarian, who suggested that they inform a local association, the Cats Protection’s Cornwall Adoption Center.
