Freezing temperatures can be very dangerous for pets left outside. In Vladivostok, Russiaa man helped a struggling helpless dog who had licked a manhole cover and got his tongue stuck in the ice covering the metal.
Temperatures reported in the city that day were around 5 degrees Fahrenheit (-15°C).
The poor animal was trying to free itself when it was found. The man took immediate action by pouring a bottle of water over the frozen area. Fortunatelythe man was able to rescue him, and the dog apparently did well.
Thank you to this great man who took action when he saw an animal in need of help. It is not known if the dog had a home. When temperatures drop below freezing, animals suffer the effects of the weather, and many may end up freezing to death.
small dogs, young dogs, older dogs and those with short hair are particularly vulnerable to cold temperatures. But the truth is that winter temperatures are dangerous for all animals in general if left outside.
A young man saves a dog whose tongue was frozen stuck in a manhole
Don’t leave your animals outside in the cold. They are part of the family, and deserve to be treated as such. The good news is that the dog is now fine, luckily his tongue has recovered thanks to the help of this great man.
