This Thursday, July 28, around 11:15 a.m., a Dutch couple, on vacation in the area ofArromanches (Calvados)was walking their young labrador.

The latter escaped them and “ran straight towards the cliff without realizing the void behind”, describes Lieutenant Olivier Moreau, deputy commander of the Bayeux rescue center. The scene took place in the 360 ​​car park, that of motorhomes.

The puppy fell 10 meters below.

The young Labrador, fortunately safe and sound, was saved by the firefighters of Bayeux and Caen. “We first had to secure the site because there were people who came to see and approached the edge of the cliffs, explains the lieutenant, we have a rescue team in a dangerous environment which came from Caen which is intervened and who carried out the extraction of the dog. »

More scared than hurt, the pup got away without a scratch.
