Sausage recall notice in Carrefour, Intermarché or Système U stores. A sausage possibly contaminated with bacteria is recalled, due to the risk of food poisoning it can cause.

This product should not be consumed, warns the government site Rappel Conso.

The product covered by the recall, marketed under the Carrefour, Intermarché, Système U, Galec and various wholesalers and outlets or factory outlets, was sold under the following references:

Risk of food poisoning

The subject of the recall concerns the risk of the presence of “staphylococcal enterotoxins”, which can cause food poisoning. They result “by gastrointestinal disorders (mainly vomiting) appearing in the hours following ingestion and generally disappearing quickly”, specifies the reminder sheet.

Therefore, this sausage should not be consumed and returned to the store for reimbursement. A telephone number is made available to the consumer, who can contact 06 88 23 80 71.
