Under construction for almost three weeksthe McDonald’s in Châteaubriant (Loire-Atlantique) gets a makeover. Many changes are provided. They will be found from end of June 2022.
Indoor games for children, Mc Café…
“I decided to do some work because the building and the decoration were getting old,” admits Mario Piromalli, the manager of McDonald’s in Châteaubriant.
The entrepreneur confides that his restaurant will expand by fifty places. But that’s not all.
“The children’s games will go inside. There will also be a room dedicated to this, with seats and tables for parents so that they can watch their children”.
The businessman, at the head of 23 McDonald’s restaurants, wishes to optimize the well-being of its customers.
The decoration will be new and the place will be much more comfortable. For example, large sofas will be installed. The restaurant will be designed for families.
A McCafé and a salad bar will also emerge. Lovers of fries and burgers a little in a hurry will also appreciate the overhaul of the drive.
“The drive track will be redone. It will be duplicated in order to serve customers more quickly. »
McDonald’s not impacted by Burger King
Mario Piromalli assures that the works have no connection with the arrival by Burger King. “I redo my restaurants regularly. This investment has been planned for three years. At that time, the competitor’s arrival was unknown. »
Present for more than 20 years, McDonald’s in Châteaubriant works “very well” according to the businessman. “The restaurant has been accepted by Castelbriantais. So I had to welcome them as best I could. »
The arrival of a competitor would not have affected the turnover of McDonald’s in Châteaubriant.
There was an effect of people’s curiosity. It’s normal, it’s legit. But, that didn’t last very long.
Facilities should also improve employee comfort. Besides, five to ten new jobs will be created soon. In total, the cost of the work amounts to 1.5 million euros.
“We are working very well in Châteaubriant. It doesn’t scare me,” emphasizes Mario Piromalli.
“We put a lot of money and love into this restaurant. I am convinced that in Châteaubriant, there is great potential. I love this city and its development,” he adds.
