Commerce in Lisieux: a salad bar in the city center

Under construction since 2021, restaurant employees are eager to welcome customers. The restaurant opens to the public on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Make-your-own salads

The trade offers a principle of salad to compose with a base of green salad or cold pasta. To complete his salad, the customer chooses several ingredients arranged in a refrigerated display case.

The salad can be accompanied by a drink and a pastry according to the consumer’s desires, in the form of formulas. Quiches and sandwiches will also be on sale.

In the shop, three employees will be on hand to prepare orders and receive customers: Malo Costé, Florence Mea and Vanessa Jayet. Previously in charge of the Les Gourmandiz de Vanessa bakery, Vanessa Jayet will now take care of the preparation of pastries, pastries, sandwiches and condiments for salads.

50 meals for the Red Cross

Before opening, the Costé salad bar will offer fifty meals to the Red Cross in Lisieux, on Wednesday June 8 and Thursday June 9, 2022. “This allows us to check whether our quantities are correct and to have opinions on our first tests” , smiled the manager.

The salad bar offers a 5% discount on lunch formulas for people who work in Lisieux, subject to proof of professional activity. Soon, the restaurant will offer a delivery service with Uber Eat.
