Sky, a 9 month old malinois dog being trained by the Sdis 30 firefighters, has been missing since Thursday near Laudun-l’Ardoise, near Bagnols-sur-Cèze. He remains untraceable, research is in progress.
Sky is being formed by a dog handler of the Sdis du Gard canine team for the search for lost or buried persons. This malinois will reinforce the tracking canines within the Gard firefighters. On Thursday, under undetermined circumstances, Sky managed to escape from his enclosure and did not return. Since then, searches have been carried out, but, at 12 p.m. this Saturday, an officer from Sdis 30 confirms that the animal has still not been found, despite flying over a large area with a drone.
“Sky is good in his head, he likes people and his fellows. He is not mean. If you see him, he is wearing a collar with his owner’s number. In case of information on him or his whereabouts, contact 112″, indicates the Sdis du Gard, which hopes to find his trace quickly.
