The autopsy confirmed “that the shots fired one on the right flank and the other on the left flank of the victim were the cause of death”. A woman living in the town and unknown to justice, said she was the author of the shots. She explained to investigators that she had “frequent and regular verbal altercations with her neighbor, the victim, about barking dogs”. On Sunday, she left her home between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. armed with one of the four shotguns she had in her home along with two cartridges.
“She showed up at the gate of neighbors screaming that she was going to + kill her +”. Disarmed by her neighbors at first, she then returned home, repeating “that + someone had to kill her +”.
Moments later, two shots were heard. “The lady had taken a new rifle from her home, entered her neighbor’s house by climbing a fence and then shot her twice,” the statement continued.
