In Luxembourg: Firefighters rescue a small dog in danger

LUXEMBOURG – CGDIS men intervened to lower a dog stuck at the top of a building in Belair.

Of the thousands of interventions carried out by Luxembourg’s firefighters (67,000 in 2021), most obviously concern people, but not only… The men and women of the CGDIS also intervene to rescue animals. And that’s what happened at midday on Wednesday, reports the CGDIS this Saturday.

Firefighters unfolded the ladder to lower a small dog perched on top of a building. The rescue went off without a hitch – the rescuers even deployed an air cushion on the ground in case the dog fell. He returned to solid ground without injury and took the break with his rescuers.
