How old will your faithful four-legged friend live? Here is a question that all pet owners have asked themselves once. Moreover, the Royal Veterinary College, one of the oldest veterinary schools in the United Kingdom, has looked into the subject. The students have published a relevant study in which they reveal the life expectancy of the 18 most famous dogs.

To arrive at these results, they studied the data of more than 30,000 individuals of 18 different races, who died between January 1, 2016 and July 30, 2020. Of course, this is an average age which can evolve according to the heredity of the animal, its living conditions, its state of health, etc.
