“Playing and training while doing Ramadan is not easy at all. Before Ramadan we spoke with the captain and the coach to find out if we could change the schedule for training in the morning. It’s easier for us and then if you train in the morning, you will have more time to recover in the afternoon at home. Because if you train around 2 p.m. or 3 p.m., it’s complicated. (…) The coach agreed. I think it makes it easier for us to give our best on the pitch.”the reigning African champion told the television channel.
