Dinner in the sky, the ephemeral restaurant extraordinary who has already delighted Monaco, London, Berlin, Budapest, Dubai or even New Yorkwill exceptionally settle at Arcachon for 5 days. And it’s on the Arbousiers beach that the original concept will set up its nacelles.
A gastronomic experience with your head in the stars
If you don’t know him yet, Dinner in the Sky is a concept born in Belgium 15 years ago who is based on the notions of surprise and discovery both in the menu and in the meeting and the exchange with the Chef or the Chocolatier/Pastry cook with whom you embark. In the sky of Arcachon, a table of 22 people is suspended in the air. In the center of the table is a kitchen area allowing the Chefs to prepare and serve, in front of you, an exceptional meal. With a stunning view.
€295 for a star-studded dinner that flies over the Arcachon basin
The breath taken, but not the appetite! Because hold on tight, the event called on 10 renowned chefs (the cream of the crop) to concoct the meals. Among them ? Thierry Renou (Patio Chef), Brice Tomico (Saint-Ferdinand Chef), Greg Colantuono (Bistrot 50 Chef), Pierre Mirgalet (MOF Pâtisserie Pierre Mirgalet), or even Mathieu Guignard from the eponymous house. These 10 gastronomic talents will concoct 2 lunches, 3 gourmet breaks and 2 dinners per day.
On the price side, count 265€ lunch (served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.), 75€ for tastings throughout the afternoon (including pastries and/or chocolates, wines or soft drinks) and 295€ dinner (served from 7:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. or from 9:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.). In total, 770 people will be able to taste refined dishes with their heads in the clouds…
