Nantes crowned champion of France U19 at the expense of Monaco

After their victory in the Coupe de France, FC Nantes won a new trophy this season, among young people this time. In the final of the French U19 Championship, the Canaries beat Monaco (3-2) in Saint-Quentin (Aisne). Unhappy finalists in 2013 and 2015, the Yellow and Green are crowned in the category for the first time since the implementation of the new format in 2009.

The Monegasques were very quickly reduced to ten after the expulsion of Enzo Couto who annihilated a goal action (5th). The Nantes residents took the opportunity to score two goals in quick succession thanks to Adel Mahamoud (23rd) and Hamissou Dangabo (24th). The latest achievement is the work of Titouan Fortun (74th). Twice, the ASM came back to a goal (35th and 87th), but never managed to pick up the score.
