Near Clermont-Ferrand. A man goes after his dog and kills him in the middle of the street

The scene shocked passers-by. This Tuesday, August 9, at the beginning of the afternoon, around 2 p.m., a man killed his dog in the middle of the street, the police services indicated to news Saint-Etienne.

The heavily alcoholic man

The facts took place near Clermont-Ferrand, in the town of Cébazat. The 46-year-old homeless man allegedly killed his dog by throwing him violently to the ground several times.

A passerby alerted the police. Arrived on the spot, the police confirmed the death of the dog. The man, heavily alcoholic, was taken to the police station, the police officers placed the man in a drunk tank before questioning him.

The individual denied the facts

According to the individual, his dog was first hit twice by two different cars, at two separate locations in the city. He would then have killed his dog to shorten his suffering.

A version in which the police do not believe: “A dog that is hit twice without any witnesses.. There are not too many doubts”, indicated the police services to news Saint-Etienne.

The man was released at the end of his police custody and will be called back soon by justice.
