Announced in the sights of several clubs following his good season in Ligue 1, Hugo Ekitike is heading to Newcastle. According to FootMercato, Stade de Reims has reached an agreement with the Magpies for the transfer of the young French striker of almost 20 years. Amount of the agreement? €36m + €10m bonus.
Info and figures confirmed by RMC Sport and L’Equipe, which specifies that Reims has also negotiated 15% on a future resale of its French international U20. The two media add, however, that the position of Hugo Ekitike remains to be known.
Newcastle also agree with Ekitike?
