While 68% of French people see their pet as a true member of their family, France is one of the countries lagging farthest behind when it comes to adopting health insurance for pets, unlike other countries. other European countries such as Sweden where 90% of them benefit from insurance protection. A delay that comes as the cost of care for pets is experiencing high inflation.

It is on this basis that the 3 co-founders of Dalma, Alban de Préville, Raphaël Sadaka and Harry Belinga, have built an insurance offer, equipped with the simplest possible customer experience, like what is done with neo insurers like Alan.

After a first round of funding of two million euros from Kima Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Frst, the startups announces a new fundraising of 15 million euros from Northzone, Project A, Anterra Capital, and its historical shareholders.

Northzone is one of the investors in fintech Klarna, whose super app concept serves as a model for the founders of Dalma.

To talk about it in more detail, Richard Menneveux interviewed Raphael Sadaka, CEO of Dalma, about the strategic orientations of the startup.
