Certain animals are definitely destined to play an important role in the development of our lives, as they often develop skills that are of great help, especially to people in need.
Bracha Fischel, a very talented painter from Israel, unfortunately suffers from tetraplegia, a condition that results in total paralysis or partial arms and legs. She has limited use of her hands and still uses a wheelchair, but that hasn’t stopped her from pursuing her fine art.
Bracha managed to continue painting wonderful pictures, but it should be noted that a charming assistant helps her behind the scenes.
Service dog learns to feed her mistress
Due to her special needs, Bracha was assigned a service dog named Donna, and the moment they met, they became best friends. The relationship between the two is very special, and although they have only been together for about a year, it seems like they have known each other forever.
Donna came into Bracha’s life to make things easier for him, and usually helps him with everyday tasks like opening doors. and pick up items. She always did her job very well, so much so that she even became Bracha’s best assistant during the artistic process.
When she starts an artistic project, Donna gladly brings her the brushes or any other tools she needs to finish the job.
Bracha told The Dodo:
“Donna brings brushes to my mouth, as well as pencils, markers or whatever I need to paint. »
The clever dog has become a staple of Bracha’s painting, and is no doubt already part of Bracha’s art team.
What Donna is doing is very inspiring, but it pales in comparison to the most important way she helps her mistress. Somehow she analyzed that her friend needs to be fed, and by instinct she learned to feed her in a very curious way.
Donna literally helps her best friend eat, as she holds a modified spoon with her snout and slowly feeds her.
“Apparently, he’s the first little dog to learn how to do this. »
Since then, at lunchtime, Donna becomes one of the protagonists of this moment of emotion, an example of true love. Their friendship has shown that it goes beyond a simple union of necessity and that, on the contrary, Donna is there to love Bracha.
It seems that Donna is very happy to serve, knowing that she is helping her best friend have an easier life.
“We are a good team. I couldn’t do it without her. »
Now, every time Bracha completes a painting, she knows it’s not just her work, but also the result of her friend’s work. Without a doubt, a story that shows the importance of animals for some people, we hope that this friendship will remain united forever.
