According to several concordant sources, OM are now close to an agreement with Angers for the transfer of Mohamed-Ali Cho. However, the young 18-year-old French striker has not yet agreed with the Marseille club, while competition is fierce on this issue.
Revealed in recent weeks by several concordant sources, Marseille’s interest in Mohamed-Ali Cho seems to be materializing. According to Le 10 Sport and RMC Sport, OM are now close to an agreement with Angers for the transfer of the young 18-year-old French striker. According to French radio, Pablo Longoria, the president of the Marseille club, offered 12 M€ (+ bonuses) to the SCO, which for its part claims at least 15 M€.
If the financial positions of the two clubs therefore no longer seem very far apart, a major obstacle remains concerning the finalization of this deal. Still according to RMC Sport, Mohamed-Ali Cho has not yet reached an agreement with OM from a personal point of view (duration of the contract, salary, etc.). At the same time, many clubs are also on the lookout to try to sign the player from the 2004 generation.
According to the independent journalist Fabrice HawkinsSalzburg has for example taken action in this case and says it is ready to offer 10 M€ to Angers, less than what OM is offering. “Mohamed-Ali Cho has at least two other concrete offers (Frankfurt and an English club). OM have a small lead in this case”adds this same source.
