A black and white photo, a big smile, a mischievous look. Multi-starred chef Yannick Alléno paid a moving tribute to his son, Antoine, who was fatally hit in Paris overnight from Sunday to Monday by a driver driving a stolen car. His funeral took place this Friday in Possy in the Yvelines.

Antoine Alléno, 24, who was riding a scooter, was hit at a red light on Sunday around 11:00 p.m. in the 7th arrondissement of the capital by a driver who had just “steal a luxury vehicle”, according to a police source.

The young man, who was at the head of the restaurant “Burger Père et Fils”, launched last year with his father, died on the spot.

The driver was indicted on Wednesday and remanded in custody, said the Paris prosecutor’s office.
