Caroline Delaye is a Frenchwoman living in Ireland for 27 years. A former veterinary nurse, she now devotes her life to the rescue of large dogs. She created Together Furever Home, a sanctuary where the animals she takes in are protected for the rest of their lives. But today, the owners of the farm where she lives with her 20 canines have made a decision: they want to recover the house and renovate it. carolina has only 5 months to relocate.

Caroline has saved nearly 100 dogs

Since carolina created her association, she saved and housed nearly 100 dogs. They are mostly large canids, such as Great Danes, Greyhounds, German Shepherds or even Saint Bernards.

For 6 years, it is in a rented farm that carolina lives and hosts his proteges. She is content with simple things, as long as her animals have what they need. “My landlords have been wonderful, and although I don’t have central heat, TV, broadband or luxury in my rented home, it suited me and the dogs“, she said, in words reported by Belfast Live.

We lived in paradise. We had acres to walk in safely, rivers to swim in, and a safe haven away from the people. But in 20 weeks this dream life will be over and my dogs and I will be homeless.

If in 5 months Caroline has not found accommodation, she will have to part with her dogs

Today, the owners of the farm have decided to recover it. The concern is that carolina fears that he will not find any other accommodation that will accept him and all his animals. However, she is ready to move anywhere in Ireland, and has appealed for help to find a solution.

This work was my passion, but today I fear for the future. I pray that I am right and that this is not our end. The end of us would be the end of me, I’d be lost, my purpose would be gone, I’d be broken“, she confided.

After helping animals”abandoned, neglected or left for dead“, it is carolina who needs help now. “I just hope someone can help point me to the right place where I can create a sanctuary to save lives and make their world a better place.
