To reduce its carbon footprint, Coca-Cola in France now offers all of its brands in returnable glass bottles for cafes, hotels and restaurants.

Coca-Cola in France now offers all of its brands in returnable glass bottles for cafes, hotels and restaurants. “With the launch of a new 25cl returnable glass format unique for all the Fanta, Sprite, Fuze Tea, Tropico and Minute Maid brands, Coca-Cola in France now offers all its drinks in returnable glass to Cafés, Hotels and Restaurants (CHR). As of today, the Fuze Tea and Tropico brands are available in these new bottles. Then will come Sprite and Fanta by the end of the year, as well as the Minute Maid juice brand”, specifies a communicated.

And to add: “They join the brands Coca-Cola Original, Coca-Cola Without Sugars and Coca-Cola Cherry, marketed in cafes, hotels and restaurants in their iconic 33cl bottles, also historically in returnable glass”.

Once consumed, the returnable glass bottles are stored in their own lockers and collected to return to the factory, to be cleaned, then refilled. For Page Guillot, President of Coca-Cola France, it is an “ambition that corresponds to consumer expectations to move towards more circular consumption patterns and to contribute to the fight against climate change”.
