The M6 ​​group and Stéphane Rotenberg are indeed opening, in collaboration with Les bistros pas parisiens, the first restaurant bearing the name of the famous culinary competition.

Candidate signature dishes

This unique place, called Bistrot Top Chef, will open its doors on July 8 on the banks of the Seine, more precisely in Suresnes, in the Paris suburbs. It aims to offer its customers “a unique experience inspired by the great moments of the show”. The menu will thus offer dishes with a bistronomic influence from the different seasons which have been praised by the jurors of the program and the great chefs who have tasted them. For the opening week, gourmets will thus find starters, main courses or desserts, signed by Louise Bourrat and Arnaud Delvenne, finalists of season 13, Camille Delcroix, winner of season 9, Coline Faulquier, finalist of the season 7 and starred chef, Victor Mercier, season 9 finalist and starred chef, Thibaut Sombardier, season 5 finalist and starred chef as well as Norbert Tarayre, season 3 finalist. have already agreed to participate. The cooks will be regularly present in the establishment, as will Stéphane Rotenberg.

Live the black box experience

The decor of the restaurant will be inspired by the set of “Top Chef” M6

In order to put the customers in the atmosphere of the program, the decoration of the restaurant will be in the spirit of the set of “Top Chef” and certain elements of the decor will even come directly from the program such as the orange fridges or the pantry, which will be reconstructed on site. The more adventurous can live the experience of the black box, the mythical event of the competition. They will be served in a room totally immersed in darkness and will taste their dish blind. Finally, a “chef’s table” offering workshops and culinary shows with a cook will also be available to customers.

Reservations for the “Top Chef” experience will open on June 15, the day the program’s season 13 finale airs, only via TheFork app. If this is the first time that a “Top Chef” restaurant has opened its doors, M6 had already tried the experience of having fans taste the dishes of the candidates. A few weeks ago, the chain launched the ephemeral restaurant “Philo Saucisse” in Paris near the Place de la République, an exact replica of the winning establishment of “La guerre des restaurants” in season 13. Moreover, in In 2012, various “Top Chef” candidates settled for several weeks in the kitchens of the Alcazar establishment in Paris to offer their signature dishes to customers.
