After stealing a vehicle from a luxury restaurant in the 7th arrondissement, the fugitive got into the young man’s scooter, stopped at a red light. According to Le Figarothe son of the three-star chef died instantly and his passenger was taken to hospital. Two days after this tragedy, Yannick Alléno shared a moving photo on his Instagram account. We see the front of Burger Père & Fils, the restaurant that the two men had opened in Paris, decorated with flowers and messages for Antoine. “Look at Antoine, everyone is thinking of you”, modestly commented Yannick Alléno, who shared many photos and tribute in story.
On the pictures published by the relatives of Antoine Alléno, and taken up by his dad in an Instagram story, we discover the young man in an intimate setting, in the kitchen and with his family, always with a smile on his face. In a press release published by Le Figaro, Yannick Alléno and his family came out of silence after the tragic death of Antoine. “It is with deep sadness that Chef Yannick Alléno, his mother Isabelle, his brother Thomas, his family, as well as the teams of the Yannick Alléno Group inform you of the death of their son, brother, colleague and friend, Antoine, victim of a road accident which occurred on the night of May 8 in Paris”wrote the family of Antoine. “In this painful time”they “are very sensitive to the benevolence and understanding of all, while respecting their privacy”. On social networks, many personalities from the world of cooking paid tribute to the young man and sent their condolences to his father.
Death of Antoinen Alléno: an investigation has been opened
Her brother, Thomas, also sent her heartbreaking words. “My brother…my love…my double…my life…I will miss you very much. Words fail me to tell you how much I love you and how proud I am of you, of the man you were .. you leave behind you a huge void, I love you so much”, he wrote on Instagram. After the violent collision and the death of Antoine Alléno, the Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation for “manslaughter aggravated by the theft of the vehicle and the state of alcoholic impregnation of the defendant”. The driver who caused this fatal accident was placed in police custody, and the investigation was entrusted to the Service for the judicial treatment of accidents (STJA) of the Paris police headquarters.
